Back to CURRENT STUDENTS STUDENT CONCERTS PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU SIGN UP so that we do not have any misunderstandings PLEASE MEMORIZE your performance piece PLEASE STAY FOR THE WHOLE CONCERT (about 30-45 minutes) to be polite to the other performers Students are allowed to play ONLY ONE piece per lesson that they take each week. This is to make sure that ALL students get a chance to play. If you wish to play more than one piece, you can let your teacher know and IF the concert does not fill up you MIGHT be allowed to play a second piece. IF YOU HAVE A YOUNG CHILD who can not sit quietly for 45 minutes PLEASE KEEP THEM HOME Do this as a courtesy to the other performers. You can: Find a babysitter OR have one parent attend with your performer and the other parent can watch from home on zoom OR You can sign up to play ONLINE for the concert so the whole family can stay home together IF YOU WILL BE PARTICIPATING ONLINE: BE SURE TO SET YOUR ZOOM SETTINGS TO "USE ORIGINAL SOUND" (otherwise, we will not be able to hear you at all!)
